SANGKHIM CANAAN SCHOOL
The school motto is to be “In favour with God and man”, adapted from the Bible (Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”)
The red and blue are the national colours of Cambodia. Blue is also the colour of the sky and it symbolizes Hope (Sangkhim). Red represents people and the culture that links us together. The centre diamond has 4 sides symbolising the balanced development of the student in four dimensions viz. intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. The outcome is depicted by the full stalks of rice representing fruitfulness (Canaan) and service to the community. Service is conducted with integrity and humility. These virtues are shown by the standing and bending postures of the rice stalks.
