| SANGKHIM CANAAN SCHOOL School Motto The school motto is to be “In favour with God and man”, adapted from the Bible (Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”) School Badge
The red and blue are the national colours of Cambodia. Blue is also the colour of the sky and it symbolizes Hope (Sangkhim). Red represents people and the culture that links us together. The centre diamond has 4 sides symbolising the balanced development of the student in four dimensions viz. intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. The outcome is depicted by the full stalks of rice representing fruitfulness (Canaan) and service to the community. Service is conducted with integrity and humility. These virtues are shown by the standing and bending postures of the rice stalks.
School Core Values Sangkhim Canaan School’s core values are adopted from 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” (NASB). Our five Core Values are:
These core values are essential to ethical and responsible behaviour. Our expectation is that all staff and students will adopt and exhibit these qualities. School Location We are located in Santouch Village, Sre Thmey Commune, Roleal Pha Ear District, Kampong Chhnang Province. (next to the CMAC Training Centre).
Staff & Students At the present, we have K1, K2, P1 and P2 classes. We are adding a new level every year all the way to Grade 12.
Future Growth Plan We have plan to develop the 5.22 Hectares plot for kindergarten (K1 & K2), primary (P1 to 6) and secondary schools (G 7 to 12). The curriculum is based on Cambodia's national education syllabus. We will prepare our students for the National Examinations in Grade 9 and Grade 12.
